It’s Christmas Eve, 1938, when Madge Arwell comes to the aid of an injured Spaceman Angel as she cycles home, in this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special, starring Matt Smith as the Doctor. No cover or bonus feature details yet, but this has a release date of January 16th. I will update as and when I know more

It's good that they are releasing it so soon, but I probably won't get it. I'd rather wait until next year and have it as part of a full season set. It's how I have all the others.

I'm going to wait & see what the special features are. It's how I decided with ACC.

There is no proms to go on this year which makes it an unlikely purchase... but never say never I guess

The bonus materials seem decent. I think those features though are the BBC3 ones that aired between Tennant and Smith.

Was just looking at this tonight and the prices are: Amazon: DVD: £7.49 and Blu-Ray: £9.99 BBC Shop: DVD: £6.99 and Blu-Ray: £8.99 So probably best place to buy it - if any is the BBC shop Cause it's the cheapest

The price isn't bad, but even still I don't think I will be getting it.

Yeah if I have some money left at the end of January I may buy it, but I'm a bit annoyed I bought the Christmas Carol DVD when it's on the S6 box set (that was the reason I waited to buy it for so long)- I guess there's the proms on there, but I have no idea what these extras are
