This one gets a 5 from me as well. It had an excellent guest cast and a great 'classic' feel to it. I do wish they had just bit the bullet and called the minotaur a Nimon, but that's my only complaint.

3 from me. Again - apart from the rewatch I haven't actually watched this episode since and I don't really ever think I'll have the urge to.

I gave this a four and I have only two words why it didn't get full marks. David Walliams.

I was going to go with a four (because Walliams annoyed me), but other than that it was brilliant so I gave it full marks.

Full marks here. This was one of the saving graces of the second half of series 6 for me.

I don't think Smith's 2nd series was as good as the 1st, or this episode was quite as good as some in the 1st series, but I will just about give it a 5, not only for being the best episode in this series, but also for being possibly Matt Smith's best performance and a great ending which took me back to some of the Tom Baker stories where the baddies were less one-dimensionally evil. Even so, I'm getting a bit tired of the part-human part-animal baddies that we have been fed with since the reboot. Human head scorpion's body. Human head spider's body. At least with the minotaur it was the head that was different and the body that was human.

I went with a five, but it was very nearly a four. It's a good story with some great guest characters (Rita really had companion potential), but I think they wimped out with the minotaur. They should have just called it a Nimon and been done with it. I wasn't so keen on David Walliams character but he wasn't too annoying.
