There are rumours that these episodes will be released just as extras on a new Revisitations box set next year.

I was so excited when I heard about this. I remembering crossing my fingers and hoping for Tenth Planet P. 4 or any of Power of the Daleks.

And instead we got Galaxy 4 and what, another episode of Underwater Menace?

Well, they might not be the first choice (more of Daleks Master Plan would be mine) but any lost episodes recovered excites me.  Galaxy 4 was one that made a big impression on me as a kid, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing a whole episode.

I actually am kind of curious about seeing the chumblies in action. They are so strange and I hate stories that have /all/ missing episodes. So I guess that's not too big a disappointment. I bet you anything that all the stories exist somewhere in some form... Zimbabwe.

Way to sound ungrateful. It's better to have two of something than a handful of nothing. I think everyone had a wish for something specific, but the ones we got are definately not to be sniffed at. Anything that brings the number of missing episodes down is good in my book

I'm grateful all right, but it was my sheer disappointment that made me so upset. When your expectations are high, the letdown is all the more larger. Though I am happy that we're now at 106. I'm pretty sure this number will go down.
