Ouch!!! I have this on my Christmas list, though now I'm having serious doubts. On the other hand it won't be my money wasted & part of me wants to see for myself. What to do!!!

I mentioned this in the water cooler thread on Lego games, but one of the reviews I saw - can't remember where now I'm afraid - said that this game "must have been made by people who hate video games". Worst case scenario though - it led to the Sonic Screwdriver Wii remote!

Here are the first 5 and a half minutes of gameplay. You know, reviewers have been harsh but I cant help thinking that if you look at this as aimed at young children then it isnt too bad. For adults its not the best but it seems that young children are the target market and thats where they missed a trick

The graphics are a bit ****, but its not that bad. I think half of these reviewers were expecting Tomb Raider or Warcraft type games and they are pissed off because they got standard graphics with a straightforward story that kids can actually play without wanting to throw the remote across the room. No, its not the best, but it probably had a shoestring budget and very little time to put together. Its like the DS one. Slated in all the magazines but everyone I know who has played it has enjoyed it. Sometimes its just cool to knock things

Such a shame to hear these reviews. I still want it though all the same. I can judge for myself then

This charted at Number 11 on this weeks Wii chart after 2 days worth of sales. Not a bad start

Hmm hoping this isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be, as mum has just bought it for me for Christmas... hoping it'll be better than I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Wii game which she bought me last year though... =\ Maybe if it's terrible I should have got her to buy me the new Harry Potter game instead... oh well... =\

Its not great, especially for the price, but its not as bad as some people have made it out to be. Its always worth making up your own mind with things like this You will have to let us all know what you think once youve had a play

Right, I'll write a little bit about teh game... Yeah I got it for Christmas and haven't really played it since... I spent about 2hrs on Christmas day messing around trying to put out these silly fire things and managed to do it once and couldn't do anything more... totally failed it! When AS exams are out of the way I'll have another play on it and see if I can get further, but yeah... what i've played so far doesn't seem to bad once you've figured it out!

To be honest you aren't missing much. It's not a very good game at all. The potential was there but it just didn't work.
