There are a few stories that I actually really quite like that are often lost to the bottom of the popularity pile. The Gunfighters, Delta, Twin Dilemma, Love & Monsters to name a few. But this, to me at least, is far worse than those others mentions. I said in an earlier post that this is one of my least favourites, but the more I think on it, I don't think there is a story that I like less. So, are there really worse stories than this?

I won't say yes or no until I have watched it again, but I have seen it once before and I wasn't really keen.

I'd also have to judge it based just on what I have seen, because there are loads I still havent watched.

Hmm...I'd put the Web Planet pretty close. The designs may have been (if it's possible) worse for The Dominators, but the plot for the Web Planet was pretty dull.

If there is, I can't think of it. Of all the classics that I have seen, this has been my least favourite. That's not to say it doesn't have elements of good. Just not many.

I don't think this is the absolute worst. Perhaps the worst of the Second Doctor, or the 60's, but not the worst overall. I still think that belongs to Fear Her.

I think rather than calling this out as the worst I should have said it was my least favourite, which is a little less negative and probably a bit more fair. Though since the other day and thinking on it more, I think there are some that I may like equally as little. Fear Her would be down there for sure.

Fear Her is definately worse. Maybe even The Web Planet as well.

The Twin Dilemma is worse. Love & Monsters and Fear her were most definately worse. It's probably in the bottom ten of the ones I have seen so far though.

I want to say Love and Monsters, but my big issue with that is Peter Kay rather than the actual story. Fear Her I would say is definately worse. In fact, I'll go out on a limb and say that its the worst of all.

One of the worst, but (like The Gunfighters) at least the regulars were OK in this. I'd probably go for either Time & the Rani or Paradise Towers. Not only were those appalling stories, in my opinion, but the Seventh Doctor was disastrously badly written in them. If I'd only seen those, I wouldn't believe how awesome he became later.
Sorry to repeat myself, but I totally disagree about The Web Planet - it has its faults, but it was very impressive in 1965, and I still enjoy it.

The Twin Dilemma was dire. That's definately worse for starters. The Lazarus Experiment is another. Aliens of London, too. In the rate thread I gave this a 2, and there are plenty that I would give a 1 to, so no, I don't think this is the worst

OK, call me crazy, call me wrong but... it's not the worse even of the Troughton era. That will always belong to The Wheel in Space but yeah, it's pretty awful. Definitely in the bottom 15, if not 10, for me. In short: The Dominators are bullies, the Dulcians are wimps and nothing really happens.
