See, now these are the type of ratings the should always have been getting. Much more on par with what the show deserved.

One of the DVD extras has a feature that talks about the ratings and how much they went up around this time. These ratings are good, but they did get even better.

I suspect the missing AI scores for the remaining episodes would have been a lot lower than for episode 1.

I dunno. Based on the other stories we have gone through so far, the AIs have been pretty consistent from one episode to the next. I know the later episodes were weaker but I don't think there will have been much difference in how they rated.
