In these two classic stories Ace joins the Seventh Doctor aboard the TARDIS where she’s soon battling a biomechanoid and liberating a world where just feeling sad can get you shot!

Dragonfire:

On the planet Svartos, the Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Mel unexpectedly encounter an old friend – Sabalom Glitz. Joined by Ace, a teenage waitress with a love for explosives, the group ventures off to find the fabled Dragonfire treasure.

The Happiness Patrol:

On the planet Terra Alpha, the population constantly displays happy smiles. Anyone feeling remotely glum disappears. Quickly. Having heard disturbing rumours, the Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Ace arrive to topple the entire regime.

Is it just me, or are they sort of scraping it now with the box set ideas? Do we really need an 'Ace' box set as apposed to releasing them seperately like every other Ace story? And I'm sorry but the cover is ugly

Blimey! This should be titled the; "The good folks at 2Entertain needs a new kitchen so here's some Sly McCoy episodes" Box Set. Why oh why release this as a box set?

Still, I'll buy it, so perhaps i've just answered my own question (but although these are quite good stories, I don't see the need for the box set).

Most ridiculous box set idea ever!

Two decent stories but they should have been released seperately. They are an odd choice to put together anyways, but to put them in an 'Ace' set is just so random.

I'm with everyone else. Seems a bit like a silly idea for a set.

A lot of the recent sets have been totally random.  I mean, what's the connection between The Gunfighters and The Awakening?

Aside from the fact it's a bit of a dumb reason for a box set, they haven't even chosen two of Ace's best stories for inclusion. I'll get it, as I know many others will, but because I want to add to my collection. For me that's its only selling point.
