When I found this site, I had only recently became a fan of Doctor Who. I started watching during Series 5 and hadnt seen so much as a single episode of any other series. The people here welcomed me and all my questions about the show, stuff that most people would already know, and took time to chat with me, give me advice and convinced me to stick around and give the rest of the show a look. And whats even better, is that not once has anyone said I am not a 'real fan' or anything along those lines as I was called elsewhere.

My knowledge on Doctor Who is limited, but I am learning and there is a great bunch of people here who are willing to chat and make time for anyone who is a fan of the show, regardless of how much all of our opinions may differ or how extensive our knowledge of the show is. Whats even better is that this place isnt just limited to Doctor Who. Although that is the main body of the site, there are so many other great areas for the spin offs and the merchandise and even a section that we can all chat about stuff that has nothing to do with the show.

I am new to online forums and such, but I found a great place here and I am an even bigger fan of the show now because I did.
