Here are the ratings for Gridlock. The episode was delayed because of the football overrunning, but because it's thought the bump in ratings was a result of that.

Overnight Rating - 8.0m
Official Ratings - 8.41m
Weekly Chart Placing - 7th
AI - 86

Seems so weird to see how small the timeshift is on this compared to how large they are these days. If only the critics would take notice of such things.

But then they wouldn't be able to say that the show is dying on it's feet. Its far easier to ignore the facts for a good story.
