I hate being negative but whispers of his possible return this year have got me grumbling. I don't 'hate' the character, but I just really don't see the fuss. He isn't funny or even that likable really and I don't particularly rate James Cordon as an actor. His first story was a bit poor, the second was better, but I really don't see any point or reason to bring him back again.

I agree. I don't hate him but I don't want him back, either. He just seems like another one of those things that Moff can't let go of.

James Cordon in anything makes me want to switch off. His second story for DW was better but it still wasn't great and I find the character really annoying so I would rather not see him again.

I can cope with him returning once more. Make it a 'Craig Triogy' (theres one for 2Entertain ) but then I think that's enough for his character. Even that would be a push because I can't think of a good reason for him too come back again. And I definately don't want him as a companion. I've heard that mentioned a few times and the thought of it gives me chills.

I don't think there is a reason, really. Moff just seems to like him and so is happy to have him written in, which is a waste. Why not write a new, better character instead?
