Sil
« on: February 27, 2012, 09:13:13 pm »

I can appreciate his popularity and why people think he is a good character, but I just don't like him. Ever since I was a little kid he has given me the heebie jeebies. Maybe it's because he reminds me of a slug, and I hate slugs. What's everyone else's thoughts on him?

I like Sil. I think the stuff between him and Peri (in both stories) is great. He isn't the best villain that the show has ever introduced but he is certainly one of the more memorable ones from the later years.

He's definately memorable. I think he was a good character, but like Saber there is something about him that makes me uncomfortable. I suppose that's a good thing though. That is the point of the character, after all

I think Sil is brilliant and is one of the villains I think could come back and work well in the new series. He does have a creepy element to him, but I think that works in the characters favour.

I agree with OWO, I think he would work very well in the new series. He would need an update because he looks like rubber and there wasn't much definition to the costume, but a great character all the same.

Sil was good enough, and was worth his second appearance, but he's not one of my favourites.

I thought he was ok, but I don't think I would like to see him in the new series. He doesn't stand out to me as a big enough character (no pun intended) to warrant a return. There are others that would be better suited for a reappearence if you ask me.

I think Sil was a good villain for then, but I don't think he would work so well today unless he had a huge overhaul, which would sort of defeat the point. I just think he is a bit too much of a campy, cheesy villain.
