Torchwood premiered in the UK with it's first two episodes in October 2006. 13 episodes made up the first season. The show averages 1.5m viewers on BBC3. Which was your favourite?

Seeing them all listed there reminds of just how good Torchwood was when it first aired. It was rough around the edges but the potential was obvious and so many of the stories were great.
For me it was a tossup between two stories for my favourite. The one I nearly chose, but didn't, was They Keep Killing Suzie, which is such a brilliant story. It's a shame we didn't get more of the character. The story I went for in the end was Captain Jack Harkness. I love the setting, I love the plot, I love the love story, it gave Tosh a chance to shine, it showed a new, nice side to Jack and that scene at the end on the dancefloor was just perfect. Excellent story.

With the exception of 'Combat' which is awful, I think all of the stories in the first series were good. My favourite though is They Keep Killing Suzie

All three of those would be on my short list, but I went for They Keep Killing Suzie

All the above three choices are excellent and I could have chosen either one, but I went for Out Of Time. I think it's great.

It was between Countrycide and They Keep Killing Suzie - But I went for TKKS- I think it's probably the one I've watched the most too!

My vote goes to Captain Jack Harkness. There were other stories that were just as good but Jack and Jack were hot together so that clinched it for me

Captain Jack Harkness, all the way. I liked finding a bit more out about Jack. I also think they did a wonderful job with how much they told. They revealed just enough to deepen his character, but not enough to dispel the mystery around him.

Small Worlds for me. I absolutely love P.J. Hammond as a writer - and this story was everything I hoped Torchwood would turn out to be! Honourable mentions for TKKS and Cyberwoman as well

I went with Out Of Time. I think it's a great story and I love the way they showed the characters trying to adjust to 21st century life. TKKS and CJH would take runner up positions.

Small Worlds for me. I thought it was a great story and an interesting take on fairy folklore. There are loads of great stories in this season though.

I've gone for CJH. Brilliant story, great cast, good set up for the finale and more info on Jacks past, which is always a good thing.
