When they take off and everyone falls to the floor you can see William Russell start laughing.

In episode one you can see bits of the studio during certain shots and more than once you can see a big furry mic come into shot.

There are a couple of occassions in the TARDIS where you can see people moving around in the background.

At the cliffhanger to ep1, the shadow of the caveman is really disproportionate to the model sets.

Ian makes fire by rubbing sticks together, but the sticks are very obviously not touching.

They're not meant to be touching.  You don't make fire by rubbing two sticks together, you rub the string of a bow against a stationary stick, which was what Ian was doing.  He was using a length of skin - probably one of the ones they'd been tied up with earlier.

My biggest problem (although it may have been the state of understanding at the time) was how over the top the whole sub-human intelligence was.  Humans 100,000 years ago were pretty much the same as us - they just had less information to go on.  They'd certainly have understood concepts like friendship, compassion and unity.  You can't live in a community without those.

Also, when they were shut in a cave during the night, before they'd made the fire, they shouldn't have been able to see anything.

Oh, and another one I forgot.  After they've left the TARDIS, it's some time before Susan notices it hasn't changed.  If you're travelling in a time machine that completely blends in with the background as soon as it lands, wouldn't it be second nature to check at once what it looks like?

The stone that can't be moved actually moves quite a lot whenever anyone touches it.

I just remembered something I intended to comment on but didn't at the time.  Susan's definition of the 5th dimension as "space" was more than usually crap science.

Space is 3-dimensional reality, and the 3rd dimension is the direction by which a plane is extended to form space, just as the 2nd is the direction by which a line is extended to form a plane.  Similarly, the 4th dimension the direction by which space is extended into the past and future to form space-time.

Now, imagine two diverging lines drawn across a piece of paper.  Each is a 1-dimensional line (well, theoretically, although we can't physically draw one dimenion) but the distance between any point on one line to any point on the other is measured through the 2nd dimension.  In the same way, if you take two timelines (each of which is the entire 3-dimensional universe extended through the 4th dimension) the "distance" between them has to be measurable through the next dimension up - the 5th.

Basically, the 5th dimension is the state of reality through which timelines deviate.  Presumably, it's also the state of reality through which the TARDIS moves - ie the time vortex.  Not, in any sense of the word, space.
