Season 12 of Doctor who began with Robot in December of 1974, running for 5 stories and ending with Revenge of the Cybermen in May 1975. Tom Baker made his full debut in the role of the Fourth Doctor, while a new companion was brought in alongside Sarah Jane in the form of Harry Sullivan. Which is your favourite story?

One thing I think the Daleks benefited from in the early years is that their appearances were far more sporadic, making their reappearance feel like much more of an event. When you pair that with a great script like Genesis it's a total winner all round. That gets my vote.

Has to be 'Genesis Of The Daleks' for me.

Genesis of the Daleks. Although I enjoy the others, for me, The Ark in Space was the only other one close.

I've gone for Genesis. Wasn't really much competition.

Not a bad starting season for the Fourth Doctor - some very good ones and some great ones. But blimey, you have arguably the greatest Classic Who story of all time in there; Genesis of the Daleks for me

I can only vote on what I've seen so The Ark In Space gets it.

My vote goes to Genesis of the Daleks. Not a lot of competition between this run of stories.
