The bit that always sticks out to me is Agatha not having any idea what a 'talkie' was, even though it would only be a year or two before they were common place and surely would have been talked of in the years leading up to that.

Yea there is no way she wouldn't have known. Even though full length talkies didn't come about until the following year there were lots of 'talkie' shorts by this point.

Agatha disappeared in December (in real life), but in the story it's very obviously summer time.

Just before the car chase there is a clip where Donna walks past the wasp as though it isn't even there, which obviously it wasn't really, but it was as though she didn't know it was meant to be.

Maybe it was a warm winter? Tongue

Not really a mistake, but you could tell they were trying to be safe with the cars they borrowed because that car chase was about 5mph

How come nobody thought to question Agatha? She was as likely to be the murderer as anyone else, surely?

More of an omission than a mistake, but there was no mention of why the son was murdered.  I presume it was jealousy of the abandoned son for the accepted one, but the whole thing was almost ignored.

I'm not sure cars back then could clock up very much speed anyway, to be honest.

They certainly weren't that slow.  I don't think those cars would have had any problem doing 30 or 40, perhaps more.
