I love Elton I really do, love his humor, and love how this how story is told by him. It's one of those episodes that seems to show just how an ordinary person can get drawn into the Doctor's world.

When I used to think of this episode, Elton was always one of the things that came to mind that I disliked about the story, but on rewatch I actually quite liked the character and portrayal. I think he carries the story really well.

Elton is ok but I found him annoying at times. I think it was the writing more than the acting. He was too childlike for me, but I suppose he was meant to be

Elton wasn't a bad character as such, but I think it was the way he was played that I disliked more.

I thought he was ok. Nothing stood out as brilliant about him but he wasn't a dreadful character either.

I quite liked Elton. I've never seen the actor in anything else before or since this, but I thought he played the character well and I think the character itself was likeable.

I thought Elton was one of the stronger elements in this story, although the video diary approach got on my nerves.

I thought that at first, but I think it actually gives quite a nice different feel to the story. More the real life/how those are affected by the Doctor.
