This is one of my favourite periods, especially when it comes to the fashion and etiquette of the time, and I think they pulled it off so well. This is exactly the type of period I would like to see the next companion come from.

It's a great era and it was all dressed really well in terms of sets and costumes. A companion from this era would be good, but then so would a companion from any era that isn't present.

It's one of those eras I'd be happy to see more of that I don't think would feel overdone. NuWho has had a tendancy to repeat to the point where I get bored. The Space Station in Series 1, or WWII as examples. I wouldn't want to see too much of it, but this is an era I think they could tell good stories in. Especially if they went for maybe a 1920's Hollywood type story.
