What do you think of them?

The Reapers were ok. They fit the story well and felt threatening. I think they were let down at times (though not all the time) by some dodgy CGI and I think they could have been given a bit more to do, but they were pretty decent.

I like the Reapers. I like that they were just all about destruction and we didn't focus on them too much. It made them creepier.

Yea this is what I liked most about them. And they ate a priest. That's badass

I liked them. Not something I think should ever return but they fit into this story really well.

They appeared again in one of the DWM comic strips (I forget the name) which was really good. I liked their appearance here. They were a good focus for the bad that was going on but were out of it enough for the characters to be the focul point of the story.

One thing I have never understood about the Reapers is why they were so intent on eating everything. Why not go for Pete? He was surely the biggest anomoly of all. It was him being there that brought them, after all. Surely he was the tastiest snack but they didn't seem to pay him any attention at all.

Reminded me of the Stephen King "Langoliers". I thought the idea was kind of dumb. Aren't you supposed to get parallel universes or something?

I think "supposed to" is a slightly odd idea for the effects of changing history through time travel.  It's not as if anyone's done any practical research on the subject.  As long as the idea makes some sense, it's up to the author to decide what the consequences are.
