Tonight on CBBC (BBC's Children's Channel for those o/s UK) a tiny slice of new Doctor Who was revealed as the fruits of the Doctor Who Script to Screen competition were revealed. I've put it in this thread because it isn't spoilery but it is a nice break in the famine leading up to the new season...

I was just about to post that. It's lovely to see something new. Feels like forever since the Christmas episode.

I loved that Unfortunately I watched it on YouTube, not through here, & strayed into the comments section - some people make me really sad!

What a cool little scene. I managed to watch it a couple days ago on youtube. I'd have loved to have been a part of something like that when I was in school.

I know - when I was of the age, Blue Peter very very rarely did anything like that. Closest I ever came was entering a competition on Swap Shop to try and win the Source Manipulator off the Keeper of Traken!
I didn't win.

Aw The pain runs deep - but not as deep as with Matthew Waterhouse who spent the first three chapters of Blue Box Boy ranting about not winning a 'design a monster' competition. Fortunately I have learned to let these things go
