Season 22 of Doctor Who began in January 1985 with Attack of the Cybermen, running for 13 weeks and ending with Revelation Of The Daleks in March. This season saw the show move back to it's original once weekly Saturday teatime broadcast, however, with the episodes running at nearly 45 minutes each the average length of the season remained the same. This was the first season since Season 10 in 1972/3 where there were no changes or additions to the main cast.

Bit of an average season, this. Nothing stands out particularly to me but I suppose my favourite of the bunch is Attack of the Cybermen

The Two Doctors. Attack of the Cybermen & Mark of the Rani had their strengths, the rest pretty weak.

I've gone for Attack of the Cybermen. I've not seen them all but I like that one most of the ones I have.

I think Attack of the Cybermen was the first classic Cyberman story I saw as a kid and I loved it. It's got my vote for nostalgia alone. The Two Doctors was a close runner up though.

See, I've gotta say, I really liked this season. There was only Timelash that wasn't much cop - the rest of the stories were pretty good. In the end I went for the Two Doctors (though I could have gone for Revelation or Attack of the Cybermen). I thought Colin Baker had a really good start at his tenure and if The Twin Dilemma had kicked off the season I think the dynamic would have been radically different to his whole tenure.

The Two Doctors has taken my vote. There are some great stories in the mix and one or two that are pretty bad, but I thought Two and Six worked so well together in TTD and I enjoy it more every time I watch.

Revelation. Ok, I know it's not the best but I think it's awesome.

Revelation. Ok, I know it's not the best but I think it's awesome.
I think Revelation has the best guest star performances (and no, I don't mean Alexi Sayle) William Gaunt, Clive Swift and Eleanor Bron are absolutely brilliant and again, Graeme Harper does a real number directing. It is a wonderful, genuinely interesting story - Eric Saward has written some absolute crackers!

Not the strongest season, but there are a couple of stories I quite like. Of the bunch though I think Revelation is the best.

I've seen only a couple of them so my vote has gone to Attack of the Cybermen.

This season isn't as bad as it first seems. I think it's just stuck in an era that's mainly looked down upon. Timelash isn't great but the others are all more than watchable. I've gone with Attack of the Cybermen
