An amazing enemy for the Doctor to face. I want to see them again. There is so much potential there. Just imagine them making it to earth or getting on board a space ship or something. They were creepy and great and should definitely return.

I think it's a great villain and fits the story really well but I don't think there is enough to it that would make another appearance different from this one. I think it would be same story/different setting and that would take away from this story I think.

I'm with TS. Awesome one of monsters but bringing them back would just lead to a similar story going out there. I'm not a writer though so perhaps someone other than me could think up a great story for their return.

I think they could work well in an Ice Warrior story. That's where everyone thought it was leading to anyway. Perhaps they could be like the foot soldiers of the Ice Warriors. Or, more interestingly, maybe the Ice Warriors could turn out to be working for the Flood. Maybe they aren't working together at all and instead we get a Rutan/Sontaran type scenario? Or no connection whatsoever! I think there is the potential for a lot of life in this species, but I won't feel like we have lost out if we don't ever see them return.

I like the idea of there being some sort of war with the Ice Warriors. That could be cool. And since they've been mentioned, I wouldn't mind the Rutans popping up at some point either.

It was the Ice Warrior that trapped and froze the Flood in the first place, so I think we can assume they're old enemies.  An Ice Warriors versus the Flood stories would be great.

Wasn't that just speculation though? Or did he say that was actually the case? I can't remember

I think it was speculation but he sounded quite certain. Perhaps purposely left open to debate?

Yes, I think he said it happened, rather than maybe it happened.
