So how did Amy and the Doctor not turn into Zombie Daleks when they were riddled with Nanobots?

The Intensive Care Daleks cited old battles (Exxilon, Kemble) yet all looked like RTDs bling Daleks unless i missed some grey Daleks?
So how did Amy and the Doctor not turn into Zombie Daleks when they were riddled with Nanobots?
Didn't the Doctor say the process took some time? And maybe he was immune (as Amy speculated) since he's a Time Lord. Hopefully the process will reverse for Amy, or she will have some huge gaps in her memory. BTW, why are the previous 2 posts in spoiler quotes?

Just in case anyone came in by accident before a watch - i'll take the spoiler quotes off later on when everyone has caught up

I'm going to take them off now Chris. It's only really the thread titles we have to worry about. These sections are for after viewing use so if people wander in by mistake it is really their bad - they are warned in the section rules!

Oswin mentioned at the beginning that things were trying to break in and wondered if they were vampires because they only came at night, and then half way through told the Doctor that she 'knows a Dalek when she hears one'.

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

Why did the 'puppets' need an eye stalk? They don't do anything other than help the Daleks see and the agents already had eyes.

Why didn't Oswin sound like a Dalek until she was revealed to be one. To the Doctor I mean, not the audience.

Maybe to link them into the Dalek path web so that all the Daleks know what they're seeing?

In the last scene with the Doctor in the TARDIS you can see a camera in the reflection of the floor.

Also, if the Asylum held the extra mental Daleks who had been up against the Doctor then the Asylum must have been constructed before the Time War, but that would have left thousands of Daleks out there and outside the time lock all along, which the Doctor must have known about seeing as how he knew about the asylum in the first place.

If the nanogenes convert any 'organic matter', regardless of whether they are alive or dead, then why is the Doctor immune? And more to the point, is he really? The doctor lies. This could be a set up for later, maybe?

This is the only thing that stood out to me.

This is the only thing that stood out to me. I'm not sure that necessarily meant she doesn't know they're Daleks. That's how it came over when I saw it for the first time, but on rewatch it occurred to me she was commenting specifically on the fact they only came at night. Given Oswin's personality, she could well have just been joking that maybe they were vampire Daleks.

I'm certain that he is affected/infected.

It was mentioned that Skaro had been destroyed in a classic episode of Doctor Who. Also in the Doomsday episode, the Dalek says that they have no concept of beauty or elegance.
