I know what a Dalek is, who doesn't, but I didn't fully understand the human Dalek things. I didn't know they had those as well. I always thought it was just the metal things. That's pretty much new to this story, although it does reflect some things from the past, so we're all in the same boat over them

Oh that's cool then. At least I'm not the only one lost with that. I saw another topic where someone mentioned them as robomen, but I didn't want to ask what they were

Finally got to watch it, and it was pretty damn good! Finally a good Dalek episode since AoG/DD I like to wait to rewatch before I vote, but if I had to vote now I'd probably go for ... 4? I'm stuck between 4 and 5, which makes me think it can't be perfect enough for a 5? Will have to wait and rewatch it before I decide

Definitely the best Dalek story that I have seen so far of the new series. I've not seen many of the classics (my favourite there of the ones I've seen is Planet of). It had a bit of everything, the script was strong but kept light so that the story didn't get too depressing, the Ponds were brilliant and Oswin was amaznig. Full marks.

I don't think I have ever been so confident in giving out full marks. I loved it!

Oh that's cool then. At least I'm not the only one lost with that. I saw another topic where someone mentioned them as robomen, but I didn't want to ask what they were The Robomen featured in The Dalek Invasion of Earth, from 1964/65 - a similar idea, but the Daleks had made them too stupid to be particularly useful.

I was so surprised by just how much I enjoyed this story. The Daleks stories have become so weak over the last couple of years and Victory was a load of tripe. I expected much of the same from this but was really pleased with it. It wasn't without it's faults but it's the best Dalek story we have had in a long while. I've given it 4/5
