Christopher Eccleston was supposed to put his head through the catflap in Rose' flat, but his head was too big to fit

Actually, this makes me think of something that's never occurred to me before.  The last classic story, Survival, had the working title Cat Flap, and a cat flap plays a role in the first NuWho story.  Coincidence or not?

The book the doctor reads when he says has a "sad ending" is "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold.

This is the first ever Doctor Who episode to feature a 'Next Time' trailer.

That's a cool one. I'd never noticed that!

RTD was the first writer of a Doctor Who fiction book to go on and write for the series.

This is the first episode to use a companions name in the title.

It was also at the time the shortest story title ever used (several had had five letters, but none only four) although it's been outdone since.

Along with this episode the first ever Confidential aired.

Obvious one, but the best I could come up with.

I actually would rather they didn't. I don't like names in titles, be it a companion or 'Doctor'.
