I think Eccleston did a great job of introducing a new audience to the world of Who. Like many of the other doctors like (Nyki said) grow in to their rolls, whereas Eccleston seemed to have established "his Doctor" right from the start!

Nine is a brilliant Doctor in my opinion. He's got so many different sides to him, and I would love to see him back in the show for something. He's the only Doctor my brother has liked. And it's such a shame that he left as I think Rose and 9th Doctor could have had some more brilliant stories together!
