I was just saying in the other thread (before I found this one) that I was given the years 1-4 of Harry potter and started it today. Not too far into it but it seems ok so far. Not what I was expecting but it looks like it will be fun

Hope you like it. I'm currently playing through Years 5-7 on free play to pick up the remaining collectibles. Got to get 100% on that as I have it on the first!

Really must make the effort to play my Wii versions as well.

Hehe, I have 100% too so I'll definitely aim for that in 5-7 too! Loved the first game, hope the second is as good

I totally forgot that I have years 1-4 on my DS... I think I got stuck on collecting like red plants in the dark or something so kind of gave up

Looks like there are 2 new LEGO games headed our way this year:

LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes (features Batman, his allies & foes alongside other DC creations such as Superman, Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern & the Flash) - due out later this month.

LEGO Lord of the Rings - probably around autumn (fall) time.

I'm really pleased about both, but esp the LOTR one as it means we should get one for The Hobbit too  Smiley

Are there any DW lego games?

Sadly not. LEGO don't own the license for DW. Character Building has something similar & it is compatible with LEGO - they make kits & micro figs (we have a thread on it HERE). It's cute & I do collect the figs, but I wish that LEGO had it instead - not least because we'd get games.

LOTR Lego? Awesome!

I know right  Smiley

Here are the trailers for the 2 new games (neither of them are game footage, but still worth a look).

Batman 2:

Interesting they use voices in the LOTR trailer. I'm assuming they won't in the actual game Smiley

I wonder if they'll do all 3 films in one game or split it across 3 games.

Yeah I'm thinking they've just done that for the trailer - re-making classic scenes from the first film in LEGO. Bound to go down well - in this house anyway  Wink

I think they'll probably do all three films in one, and then hopefully follow it up with a Hobbit one (if I say it enough it will happen right?!  Tongue )

If it's popular (and it's bound to be), I'm sure they will Smiley

Update on this - they actually might.

I've just got LEGO Batman 2 & the minifigs do speak during the cut scenes (it says on the back that this is the first time they've spoken in a LEGO game) - I really like it. Can't wait to get to the credits to find out who the voices are.

Ooh righty, awesome! How is Lego Batman 2? Different enough to the first to warrant buying it?

I finished Lego HP Years 5-7 to 100% last week Cheesy

Still early days yet - I'll be able to answer that better when I've played as some of the other characters (only done Batman, Robin & Superman so far) - but yeah it is different.

Well done on the 100% - I still haven't gone back to do that on years 5-7  Smiley

A new LEGO game is due to drop around November time in the UK. This time - LEGO Marvel Superheroes (to say I'm more excited about this than the previous DC titles would be an understatement!)

Some trailers:

And an extra one for the large characters:

This game will get massive points from me because they are making Stan Lee an unlockable/playable character  Cheesy

I'm excited for this, although I'll wait till it drops in price!

I recently played Pirates of the Caribbean through to 100%. It was good but a bit glitchy and repetitive at times.

I also got the LOTR game but I think I was all lego'd out after Pirates so I'll wait a while till I play that one through.

I've already pre-ordered my copy - largely because I want the Iron Patriot mini fig that comes with it!  Cheesy
