Hello all you lovely people,
I am a fan from way back. First found The Doctor while channel surfing and an episode was playing on PBS. From then I was hooked. That was in the mid 80's. Tom Baker. Wow! When his time in the role was over and The Doctor regenerated, I cried and tried to continue watching, but it was no use. I was heartbroken and lived only in the memories of the past.
And then, many years later, in walks Eccleston and The Doctor came to life for me yet again. I have been back ever since. And for the first time, I am actually able to meet others who share in this wonderful thing. As a teen, no one had any idea who Dr. Who was. Now it is different and I am glad of it.
Well, anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to spending time with you all.
