Were you already a fan of the show when Rose aired or did it bring you in? What was it like having it back/seeing it for that first time?

Very much already a fan (since 1963). I was worried about whether they'd do it properly, especially after the Movie, but it was fantastic to see it had come back with the same overall feel, but updated for the 21st century. I think elated is probably the best word.

I couldn't wait. The build up was brilliant and I couldn't wait. I didn't really watch it objectively though. I was just chuffed to have it on the TV again and didn't care that much about how good it was.

I hate to admit it, but despite how excited I was I was totally expecting it to end up an embarrassment to the classic series and quietly swept aside by the BBC. Maybe I just didn't want to hope too hard for it to work out in case it didn't, but I am so glad that it came back as awesome as it did and any Who is better than no Who.

I don't think I had time to worry about whether or not it would be any good, I was just excited to see it back on the screen. I thought RTD was an interesting choice as head writer because at that point I only knew him as the guy who wrote Queer as Folk, and that was hardly BBC primetime stuff. I think he did a great job though and I wasn't let down upon its comeback.

I was disappointed when I found out they would be one off episodes. I still miss the four parters. Other than that I was just excited and not let down when I finally got to watch.

I was nervous about it all. I wasn't sure Chris Eccleston was a good choice, I definitely didn't think Billie Piper was a good choice either, but both proved me so wrong. I was in love with the show all over again within about 10 minutes.

I actually wasn't a fan until five years after Rose aired. I was browsing through Netflix, and stumbled across Doctor Who. I'd heard it referenced before, of course, and the description made it sound quite amazing, so I sat down and watched it. And, I loved it so much, I watched the next episode. I spaced it out, but it really only lasted a little more than a month xD
