There were a couple of scenes about half way in where Amy was watching a video by a green man. She said 'that's a...' I forget the word she used, and then it seemed a big thing that these green people were on the ship before. Is this something/someone they just know? Or is it something from a past episode that we should also know? Sort of like the Daleks. I know they turn up in lots of episodes, so do the green people too? And do lots of others, or is it just the Daleks?
That bit sort of confused me to be honest.

The Silurians. They have appeared in the show during the original run & since it returned. Nowhere near as much as the Daleks, but yes they are known to the Doctor.

Oh cool. I couldn't really make the guy out very well but they just seemed to know a lot about them and not much was explained about how or why so I wondered if maybe it was just something I've not seen yet.
