Ok so this is the thread for posting anything you see about SJA in the papers, magazines, on TV, websites etc.

I'm starting it because I just bought the latest SFX mag (November 2010) and it features a 4 page spread on the show - you get stills from the new series, behind the scenes pics, bits of chat with the cast & RTD and a mini interview with Matt Smith about his guest appearance in the show. It's worth a look.

I'm also pointing it out here because if you only took a brief glance at the cover you wouldn't know it was in there though the words 'Matt Smith' might catch some people's eyes!

If I find a link for an online version of this I'll pop back and post it for those who don't want to shell out the £3.99 for the mag

This made me laugh...

Elisabeth Sladen, the star of Doctor Who spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures has revealed that she believes that current Doctor Matt Smith is perfectly cast as the famous Time Lord because he looks like an alien.

In an upcoming episode of Sarah Jane, Matt Smith stars alongside Sladen and the actress revealed that he was a complete professional at all times. Talking to TV Guide…

“There’s a lovely moment when Sarah realises just who Jo is. And as for Matt Smith, he is a bloody alien, isn’t he? He doesn’t have to act! I can see exactly why they cast him. He was a joy to work with. He went for it on every take.”

She then talked about the upcoming fourth season of Sarah Jane and in particular the scary opening two-parter which is called The Nightmare Man…

“The Nightmare Man gets into your mind and plays nasty tricks. I got to play an evil version of Sarah Jane, who appears in Clyde’s nightmare. I relish those moments when the writing allows me to be something other than Sarah Jane, kicking ass.”

The Sarah Jane Adventures returns on October 11.

I love how the media twist things. She didnt say he looked like an alien, yet thats the headline!
