I thought he was brilliant. Odd that they dressed him as a cowboy considering his origins and mission, but I thought he was a great 'baddie' for the story. That initial scene where he appeared behind the Doctor and was fading in and out as he got closer was genuinly creepy. I don't remember the last time a character gave me the creeps like that.

Agreed, I found him really creepy to begin with... Then I started to feel sorry for him

Which makes him a perfect character. I agree the outfit doesn't really make sense, but the effect makes up for it. |

I liked him. I liked that he was sort of uncomfortable to look at. He wasn't just an ugly baddie, but this was something that was done to him. It makes him scarier but also easier to sympathise with

I thought he was great and his ending leaves the door open for a return visit, perhaps to a present day or even future Mercy.

I doubt we will be seeing him again, to be honest. His story is done now. I liked the character a lot though.

He was hot without all the makeup.
The character was watchable but I didn't find him particularly brilliant.
