Off For A Visit To Mercy

I was wondering, do you think the events of A Town Called Mercy happened within the events of this story? There was a mention in that episode of them visiting Henry VIII, which we saw them do in this one. They went off travelling for a period of time (the Doctor did tell Brian, but I forget) before returning, so do you think it's possible they went from Cubes to Savoy to Henry VIII to Mercy to Cubes again?

I think this is the case. Someone posted pics/gifs on Tumblr of Rory with the phone charger that is mentioned in ATCM in his hand while they are under Henry VIII's bed in TPO3 & I've just checked myself by rewatching that section - it's there. I really don't think this is a continuity error, just that ATCM fits inside the year of the slow invasion.

Oh & he says they were gone for 7 weeks

I think it could either be during or after. Either way though we have seen it out of order from the companions POV. Could be deliberate or that the episodes got switched around. Makes sense either way

It seems like that's what happenned. Fits well, too, as this story was just backed up a bit so we could get the full backstory for the cubes.
