I remember seeing the description for one of the episodes when I was little, but the only things that stuck with me from it was the phrase "The good Doctor" and something about being trapped. I always pictured an older English gentleman that adventures across the globe with a pretty assistant (So I really wasn't that far off), and I knew he had some sort of blue box with him.
