I didn't catch that bit about it only being an e-book. Bummer. Does one need a special device (like a Kindle) to read it, or can you download it to a computer?

Depends what format it is. It could just be in PDF form, which can be read on a computer. If it's a Kindle, you can download the Kindle for PCs program for free and read any Kindle book through that. I don't know if the other formats have anything equivalent.

Has anyone downloaded this? I read somewhere that it was really a Melody Malone detective story rather than what happened in the episode, if that makes any sense...what the book would have been if Rory hadn't been zapped back in time. Of course I can't find that article now.
