Death of the Doctor was the third story of Series 4 of The Sarah Jane Adventures. It saw the return of Jo Grant (now Jo Jones after her marriage), and the first and only appearance of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor on the series. It is also the only on-screen meeting of Sarah Jane and the Eleventh Doctor.

I knew this one would take the top spot. Such an awesome story. I'm pleased with the whole top three to be honest. I love the '... Sarah Jane Smith' episodes.

Death of the Doctor had Jo, Eleven, UNIT and all the regulars. How could it not be the winner. It's brilliant.
