Full marks. Brilliant, brilliant story that was heartwrenching but sort of uplifting at the same time. The guest characters, Ricky, Adeola, Yvonne etc, all worked really well I thought and the ending was brilliant. Love it

This one gets a four. I thought it was a nice fitting end (at the time) for Rose's character and pretty much the only way they could write her out after all the lovey dovey stuff. There have been better finales, but for it's time I thought it was great

This one gets a four. I loved it so much when it first aired but I like it less these days. It's still a good story but it's not one of the strongest finales for me

I went with a 4 because, as much as this finale made me cry, I didn't think it was amazing. The ending was great, it was so emotional and felt real. So the acting was spot on. But the rest of it wasn't something I could watch over and over again in full. I also agree with people saying that some of Rose's reappearances kind of ruined this finale. I liked that he would mention her though, because it was realistic and only normal that he would still be getting over her.

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

I would have given this 3.5 because (purely personal taste) I didn't really enjoy this as much as the other finales. In the end I went with a 4 because it was a great way to deal with Rose and also had a lot of fanw**ky material in it. Rusty also manages to keep a nice sense of grandeur and scale.

A special word for Murray Gold's amazing score - that bit where Rose and the Doctor were apart was genuinely haunting.

It was a very good story but didn't live up to its hype. I did not cry but I did feel strongly. Unfortunately Rose's sudden turn to the love-forever-soulmate extreme made me frown. She didn't shed a tear for her mother!

Today, the Kaled race is ended, consumed in a fire of war. But, from its ashes will rise a new race. The supreme creature. The ultimate conqueror of the universe. The Dalek!
