Idris was a humanoid woman of unknown origin who was used as a host for the Doctor's TARDIS, so far only appearing in the season six episode The Doctor's Wife

Second Place - Canton

Third Place - Jenny & Vastra

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

Another great top three. This one is always hard to choose because so many awesome characters come in for just one story that the pool to choose from is always massive.

I also love how everyone sees Jenny and Vastra as just one Grin

I thought she was brilliant and her portrayal of the TARDIS is just so much fun to watch. She killed the more emotional lines which is what really made her stand out, though.

I think all three of those are great choices. I think one of the things I like about Idris is that she isn't coming back. Or at least she shouldn't. She came in, rocked in a contained story and then was gone again. I think that makes her stronger as a character. Sometimes we can have too much of a good thing and then it doesn't seem so good any more.

Idris was great. I'm not surprised she took this.
