Make me Smile? It's the only one I like, anyway.

Yup.  If wasn't a bad song in the original version, but this one was pretty awful, and my contempt for the Rollers hasn't softened with time.  I love Make Me Smile - one of the few songs to make a feature of pauses.

In relation to "If" by Telly Savalas, I can do no better than paraphrase Bart Simpson:

"As much as I hate that song, you gotta love the suit"
