I picked up loads of them for christmas the other day. £1 a box in Tesco And also enjoy. TKKS is one of the best of the series

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

I picked up loads of them for christmas the other day. £1 a box in Tesco I will admit to being trapped in 1980 where Orange Matchmakers were the height of sophistication. I also heard rumours of Fulton Mackay being our next Doctor when Tom Baker retires - that will be good. As long as we don't get anyone younger... TKKS (good mnemonic Doc) is a real treat (as were orange matchmakers - although now the proles can get their hands on them as well. Thank God for Ferrero Rocher is all I can say. I once had them at an ambassadorial function.) and I think Suzy is a vastly underused character and slightly wasted in TW overall. Hope i'm not overselling the episode but it is a cracker

Chris, I have to say you were spot on about TKKS. It was absolutely brilliant and they should have had her character back more often. It would have been great for her to carry on from that point until the end of the series as some sort of arcing villainess. She started as the 2nd in command for Torchwood but slowly unravelled into this vulnerable unhinged psychopath but all the while you kind of felt for her and sympathised with her. It takes a good script and a brilliant actress to pull that off. The plot was so intricate and so well executed that you couldnt help but be pulled into it, and when it is revealed that all of it was put it into place so that she could go and get revenge on her father for whatever happened before, it just showed how damaged her mind really was. I really want to see more of her

Slightly off topic, apologises. If you like Suzie as an actress you might want to give Luther a go. She played the ex wife who was seeing a new fella (played by Paul McGann) and was superb in that too.

One day I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.

I bet that the episode River is referring to is 'Meat'. It seems to be universally disliked. I thought it was a bit rubbish too

I dont really get the hate for Meat. Its not the best episode, but its not all bad. It was one of those 'message' type episodes where I think they had a point to get across.
The one I loved from series 2 was the one with Ruth Jones in it and her son goes missing. Cant remember what its called though

Oh I know the one. Adrift its called. Great story, but very uncomfortable viewing in some parts. Brilliantly plaed by Eve Myles and Ruth Jones throughout though
