Another poll. We had it for the other episodes though, so in keeping with tradition, tell us what your favourite story of Series 7 is so far.

DOAS is the only one I thought was a bit of a letdown, though I think TPOT could have done with perhaps being a two parter as it all felt cramped in. The others though I don't really have complaints about so it's hard to choose. I think Asylum of the Daleks is the one I had least hope for as the Daleks were seeming a bit stale, but that story came out and made them relevent and awesome again. I think that is where my vote will go.

I almost went for The Snowmen, but because of the slushy element I voted for Asylum. ATCM and TATM were close too.

I clicked on A Town Called Mercy before I changed my mind. When I read the question that was my immediate answer, but then I kept wavering and thinking it should be Asylum. I went with my gut though and chose Mercy.

Although Asylum was pretty good, The Snowmen has been the first one this series that I've really loved. Mostly to do with Clara I think, but also because it was a great story.

Asylum gets my vote. It's one of the best episodes for years imo.

The Angels Take Manhattan. I still hate the title but I loved the episode. I could have chosen more than one but seeing as how this was so bittersweet it got my vote.

Asylum for me. Even though it had some familiar Moff tropes in there (little nano devices that work on you from the inside..) I thought the story was a very strong one. Wasn't mad keen on the continual "Doctor Who" references but at least they weren't as grating as in the Snowmen.
My rough order (if you are interested) would be;
1. Asylum 2. Snowmen 3. Angels 4. Power of 3 Joint 5: Dinosaurs & Mercy
I think this series has been extremely strong with no really weak stories. It had a lovely strong narrative and left a few things nicely dangling.

It's been such a good season so far that it's difficult to choose, but the one that sticks out most in my brain (I admit I haven't done more than one rewatch of each) is Asylum and so that is where my vote went.

I've gone with A Town Called Mercy. I loved that episode a lot more than I thought I would. All of them have their strong points though.

I've loved pretty much the whole season so far, but I think the strongest story has to be Asylum of the Daleks.

Asylum of the Daleks was the first episode I ever saw so that one is sort of special for me. It got me hooked on the show and it's a great story. That is what I voted for.

The Angels Take Manhattan. The more I watch it, the more brilliant it seems.

This season has been so good that it's been really difficult to choose a favourite. For emotional impact I went with Angels, but it really could have been any I guess.
