Night Terrors just never lived up to just how awesome it could have been, but that's not really a surprise though. I've come to expect that from Gatiss stories. It's a shame. As with most of his plots, he can think up great stories but he just doesn't know how to translate it into a good script.

I'm beginning to think Night Terrors is underrated. Didn't really have much time for it at first, but the more I have watched it the more I see the good in it.

Night Terrors actually gets worse for me every time I watch rather than gets better.

6Tooth and Claw The Tenth Doctor 22nd April 2006 This is an episode that I was really really unsure of at first. I admit that I don't watch it over and over, but I do enjoy watching it. I think it has some good ideas in the story and by no means is it perfect, but I believe Tooth and Claw deserves more praise than it actually gets. Yes it may be a little random but I think the CGI in it is absolutely brilliant and I do still find the wolf a little scary! What did you think?

Not an underrated one for me, just one I think is generally bad. I've always thought it was quite popular and when I say to people I don't like it I usually get an odd reaction, but I just have this thing where werewolves bug me so this story was never going to win me over.

I don't mind it. I like it a lot more now that I used to. It's part of a season though that I think overall is very weak.

5The Shakespeare Code The Tenth Doctor 7th April 2007 This episode has always been one of my favourites, not all time favourites but definitely my favourite of Series 3. This is probably again one which I like due to the historical side, but the one thing that annoys me about it is the "romance" between Martha and the Doctor. This episode has a brilliant storyline behind it and it is one episode which I don't think gets as much praise as it should. What did you think of this episode?

I LOVE this story! I love the setting and the sets and the story and everything else. I don't think it holds up as well on rewatches as that initial awesomeness of first watch, but I still love it. I wouldn't call it underrated, though I think Martha is. Also, I agree about the love storyline. Don't like that in any story.

I used to really like this episode, but as TC says, I don't think it stands up as well on rewatch and the more I see it, the less I enjoy it. It's not bad, but not one of the best stories of the season.

I think the problem I have with this episode is that it SHOULD be great - great setting and location, what sounds like an interesting plot.
However, the episode never really does anything for me. So while in itself it isn't so bad, the fact that it doesn't particularly impress me I think hinders my view of it.

I thought this was great. I didn't love how standoff-ish the Doctor was with Martha, but the actual plot and setting was great.

4The Curse of the Black Spot The Eleventh Doctor 7th May 2011 I know that most people really really don't like this episode. But I really really love it. It is a bit abstract and random but I love it. It is so different to any of the episodes which I have seen before. It could have been better but it could have been much worse. I think it is brilliantly filmed and the boat is such a brilliant set. Yes Rory dies again but that adds to the 'funniness' of it in my opinion. What did you all think?

I've got a real soft spot for this one - it reminded me of an 'old-fashioned' Classic Who story (I could see Peter Davison, Nyssa and Adric doing a great job in this one). A solid story, great guest appearances - this is one that time (and fandom) has not been kind to - yet its not bad at all

I couldn't handle this episode. There are just so many gaps in logic my brain just went into overdrive picking it apart so I can never enjoy it.
The CPR alone was enough to kill it.

When this was an upcoming story I was really excited for it. I was certain, based on set reports and spoilers, that this was going to be amazing. When it aired, however, I was totally underwhelmed. I wanted it to be amazing but it just wasn't.

There was great potential here and some of it was great, but for the most part I found this story to be weak and a bit nonsensical

I agree with this. I was so excited to see this but it felt like a bit of a let down.

I really didn't like this story. It had all the potential to be amazing, but it just got silly and boring. It's cool how stories like this can polarise though. One loves and one hates, etc. It's just not for me.

Wouldn't have made my list unless I was doing a worst of NuWho list. That's how much I actually dislike this one. I've no idea why, I just think it's pants. Not my thing at all.
