The Waters of Mars is fantastic. I'm certain it would be higher on my list. It was one of those stories that was really lucky to air later in the year and benefit from the dark nights. It was really crappy, I thought.
Do you mean creepy?

47Tooth and Claw The Tenth Doctor 22nd April 2006 Another episode which I think is quite underrated yet really good. Love all aspects of this story and never get bored of it. I think it's a good episode yet it isn't really ever talked about. It is a scary, and actually quite violent (which is why it's rated a 12) and is filled with suspense, wondering what is going to happen to everyone in the house. And you have to admit, the werewolf is pretty impressive.

I really don't like this story. It's the werewolf. I think they are overdone and I dislike them now in pretty much any show or series. Had there been another monster I think I'd have liked this story a bit more.

I think it's ok, but not one of the strongest stories. I think they did a good job of introducing Torchwood but some of it was just a bit too random. Like the monks.

46The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit The Tenth Doctor 3rd - 10th June 2006 This episode wonderfully introduces us to the Ood, and is possibly one of my favourites of S2. I love all of the characters in this, and although Rose was a little annoying I loved the Doctor's part in this. The story line can seem a little weak at times but I think the rest of the story overrides this, and the idea of the beast is brilliant and in its own way leads on to further stories in the series. What do you think?

Tooth and Claw wouldn't have got a mention on my list, but TIP/TSP is brilliant. I love it.

I agree with Aneurin. I don't much like T&C but TIP/TSP is excellent. Good pick

There are some excellent aspects to this story, but there is also some stuff in there that I am not so keen on. Mostly it has to do with the devil. That bit didn't work for me.

Awesome two parter, and one of the saving graces of series 2, which on the whole I found to be pretty weak.

45Let's Kill Hitler The Eleventh Doctor 27th August 2011 There was a lot of controversy surrounding this episode and I personally thought the BBC were asking for trouble when I saw the name. Initially I wasn't at all fond of this episode, but it has since grown on me and now I quite enjoy it. It is a brilliant episode for explaining some of River's story and I love the way that the title only has a fraction to do with the entire story. What did you think?

Never lived up to is preceeding episode for me. It's not bad, but it feels a bit like 45 minutes of fluff. Very padded. Enjoyable enough though I guess

44The Wedding of River Song The Eleventh Doctor 1st October 2011 Admittedly I haven't really watched this episode much since it broadcast (no particular reason why not, I just haven't thought to). But of what I remember of it I thoroughly enjoyed it. It answered many (but not all) questions and was a brilliant finale to a good series.

I can't really remember much of this episode, which says it all really! One of my least favourite finales. But I see why most enjoyed it! Good pick

43The Unquiet Dead The Ninth Doctor 9th April 2005 I love this episode to bits. It is yet another one which I could happily sit there and watch over and over. I love the historical side to the story and how it sets up Torchwood (with the rift and Gwyneth). It was a lovely way to introduce new viewers to the way the TARDIS can travel back in time, and the representation of the Victorian times was brilliant!

42The Unicorn and the Wasp The Tenth Doctor 17th May 2008 This episode is one which I know has taken me time to get in to and I always enjoy it more on rewatch. The scene with the poison and sign language cracks me up every time and it even makes my dad laugh! Love the whole story line, and as usual I love the historical side to the story. What did you think?

Not a big fan of TUD, but I do enjoy the Unicorn and the Wasp Not one of the best of S4 (as they are mostly of such a high quality) but I like what they tried to do and I think it worked!

The Unicorn and the Wasp is one of my favourite stories. I love the humour in it and the nods to Christie's work. I'd love to have her reappear in the show somehow.

TUATW is one of my favourite stories from S4. The humour was spot on all the way through and everyone put in great performances. It would have been waaaaaay hgher up my list
