I only found out today that Imelda Staunton played the Interface in this episode. Was that widely known? I don't understand why they keep bringing in these big name stars to the show and then giving them barely recognisable, badly promoted voice-overs. We've had Michael Sheen, Ian McKellan and now this one, to name a few, all within the last two seasons. If the show can attract these sorts of names I would much rather see them on screen playing roles.

I knew it was her, but I can't remember if I knew going into the ep or if I just recognised her voice.

I never knew that. I didn't recognise her voice and it definitely wasn't widely promoted. But these voiceovers are often obscure. I didn't know Ian McKellan was in the Snowmen until the credits rolled and while I knew Martin Sheen was House, if I hadn't have known beforehand I would never have known during. They changed his voice so much it could have been anyone doing it.
