Yrcanos

King Yrcanos is a warlord from Thoros Alpha, with an uncompromising warrior ethic and a tendency to shout a lot.  He's captured on Thoros Beta by the Mentors and the human scientist Crozier, but escapes and meets the Doctor's companion, Peri, whom he falls in love with.  When Crozier puts the Mentor Kiv's brain into Peri, Yrcanos appears to be forced to kill her, but we learn (without much explanation) that this hasn't actually happened.  Yrcanos marries Peri and settles down with her on Thoros Alpha.
