What's your preference?
I just can't make that switch to digital/kindle/e-book. I like the physical thing on the shelf and holding it to read. My friend today, which is what gave me the idea to ask, went to the library to get Black Beauty but they told her they don't keep a copy of it anymore but she could download it in their e-scheme. So stupid. I see people on my commute each day using them and I understand the convenience but I don't think I will ever make the switch.

I absolutely adore the feel & smell of real books. I will never give them up completely. But ... I do have an e-reader (a Kobo Touch if you're interested) which I got for one simple reason - I am running out of storage room. At the moment I'm largely restricting myself to either the free classics (trust me reading Les Mis on that was heaps easier than lugging that tome around with me & that was just in the house!) & ones that are offered cheap that have caught my eye in a shop, but I haven't got round to picking up yet (I picked up both Rivers Of London & The Blade Itself when they were both down at £1.99). The only actual exception I've made so far was when I wanted to read the Warehouse 13 tie in novel - was cheaper & easier than tracking down a hard copy, plus I wanted to read it now while I was still in a W13 mode (I'd just re-watched the first 2 seasons). I was resistant to getting one, but I found it's not as bad as I thought

I've downloaded and read stuff on my computer if I've absolutely had to, but if I can get a hard copy then I will every time. It's just better, I think.

I do own a Kindle (and use my iPad too), and I guess that now that is my go-to place to read books.
But I don't think I'll ever prefer it to a book.

I have a Kindle mainly due to space issues in my house. But I will always prefer a book.

I got a Kindle as for some reason mum decided she wanted to upgrade to the Kindle Touch from the Kindle Keyboard. Having the Kindle is good in many ways. It's brilliant now I'm at uni as I don't have much space to keep my books. Only thing I wish is that there were automatic downloads for the physical books I have. I hate wanting to read a book and not having it at uni!
Despite having the Kindle I don't use it that much... I don't mind buying my books second hand, so generally if I can pick up the physical book for cheaper then I'll get it, but again if the ebook is cheaper than the physical I'll go for that.

I haven't made the switch and I don't think I will for the forseeable. I drive, so don't need one for commuting and when I am at home I'd rather just have the book.

Always physical for me. I don't really go mad when it comes to books so I don't have hundreds or anything, just one bookcase that isn't even full. I just don't read enough to justify a Kindle
