They need to bring it to Dublin. Just for me. It's not fair that I have to go to the UK just to see it, which I probably never will Sad

I went last Sunday!  And, no spoilers, but it was huge fun.  Most people were taking their kids, but nobody batted an eyelid at a couple of old geeks like hubby and me.  I would say kids of age 5-10 or so would love it...some of the very young kids were getting a little bit over scared, though.

Piece of advice for those thinking of going: Kensington Olympia Tube is off down a little branch line, and trains between there and Earls Court aren't as frequent as on the main District line, so check your times to get there within the half-hour slot on your ticket.  There's also not much in the way of eating places locally, so you might want to sort that elsewhere in town.

Another thing...they had leaflets for a 'Design your own monster' competition, and they said the winner would have a model of their monster made and displayed at DWE from next February.  As the Olympia one winds up in November, I'm guessing this means it may be going on tour in future, so those of you who can't get to London should perhaps keep your eyes peeled for future locations...

Its not touring, just moving to Cardiff. The London base is only temporary until they finish building the new custom built place in Cardiff, then it will move there permanantly

Aw, darn, I thought they'd at least give people further afield the chance of seeing it...OK, that answers that one.

Nope. The London version was originally supposed to close in November but it got extended to February - not 100% sure why. I want to try to go again before it closes - just to see all the stuff they've added.

I have managed to talk a friend into coming to this with me, so when it moves to Cardiff we are going on our first ever trip to Wales to go and see it.

The Doctor Who Experience is now closed in London (has been since Wednesday but I keep forgetting to pop in this thread!) - it will open in its permanent Cardiff home later this year.

Is there two threads for this? I'm sure there was more stuff posted since it's move to Cardiff?

Anyway, The Great Intelligence snow bubble thingy is now at the exhibition for all to see.

I really want to go to this again. I went when it first opened in London but I've heard they've added loads more since it moved to Cardiff. I need to make a trip I think.

I'm going to this in about ten days with Aneurin. We've paid a bit extra to go on the studio/set tour too. Can't wait

My friend went just before they announced the studio/set tour option - he is properly gutted.
