Why couldn't they have got the pronunciation of Metabelis right? It seems a bit pointless to reference the classic series when you're going to annoy anyone who remembers it.

That actually really bugged me. Of all the people who work on the show, why didn't at least one person say something during filming. Why didn't moff spot it in the edits? It really bugged me!

I read something about this, but I can't think where (unless I was dreaming - which is very possible). It said it was spotted and put right, but for some reason it was too late for the broadcast or something like that. If I find it I'll post the full quote.

I was just going to complain about this. It was very jarring to listen to and knocked me right out of the episode

Towards the end, after not having his bow tie on the Doctor's tie magically appears and then disappears again.

The Doctor is taking pictures of the ghosts, but when being developed he is in one of the pictures.

The story is set in 1974 and the professor is what? 35? 40? And yet he was talking about WWII and sending men to their deaths. Doesn't add up

The wires that ran from the TARDIS to the wormhole all disappeared when Clara returned.

Oh, I never thought of that. Even at the end of the war, 30 years still would have passed.

Unless it was Vietnam. When was that? End of the 60s? Did we send people over there or was it just an American thing?

I assumed he was a bit older than that - Dougray Scott is nearly 50, and that's roughly the age I'd have put the character at. Even that would have been pushing it a bit, though. Unless it was Vietnam. When was that? End of the 60s? Did we send people over there or was it just an American thing?
No, Britain didn't have troops in Vietnam, though Australia did. We had people in Korea, but I'm pretty sure there was something said to fix it as WW2. Maybe he's just well preserved

But how did it take so long to spot? I thought Moff watched every scene after it's filmed to make sure it's how he wants it to be. Surely he wouldn't have missed something so big.

The Doctor draws a circle on the floor and it changes size (that's the blooper part) but why? what was the point of drawing it? Did I miss something? (that's the inconsistency part)
