I've gone with Rose. I don't think it is the best story of the bunch but I do think it does the best job of introducing the Doctor.

I've only seen NuWho so I can only choose between 3, but The Eleventh Hour is just awesome - one of my favourite episodes!

Of the ones I've seen I'm going with Rose. I loved the way that the 9th Doctor was introduced, very well done.

Spearhead for me. I love it. It completely reboots the show, brings in amazing new character, villains and a new Doctor, introduces stories in colour and is the first in a run of amazing stories. Total winner

I went with Castrovalva. It's not the best but I love it and it's Five, who I love, so that's why it got my vote. Perhaps not the fairest way to do it though

I've gone with Spearhead from Space. It completely revamped the show and was just a great story.

It has to be An Unearthly Child - difficult to overstate the importance of this particular 25 minutes of TV to the whole cultural DNA of Science Fiction. Yes, the other 3 episodes are not the most thrilling, but that very first introduction, with Ian and Barbara following Susan back to Totters Lane and entering the TARDIS for the first time - that is something special.

I voted Eleventh Hour, but barely - best of the New Who intros (though Rose served its purpose in getting me hooked!), and only winning over Spearhead by a hair. I really, REALLY liked Spearhead. I haven't seen all the others yet. I did like Robot well enough, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Time and the Rani I saw out of sequence, so I'll reserve judgement until I come back around to it. Unearthly Child was good and obviously set the stage for EVERYTHING, but I don't think it really compares to later introduction stories. It can't be. The movie...we won't go there. The acting was fine, I loved Paul McGann in it. But as a whole, just, no. The next one I'll be seeing is Castrovalva. I'm starting Tom Baker's last season in just a few minutes

I wasn't altogether keen on Spearhead from Space. Revamping the Doctor as a kind of Dick Barton Special Agent didn't work for me, though I did really like the second half.

I went with The Eleventh Hour mainly because it was my first exposure to Who and it caused me to go back and re-watch the series starting from 2009 and began my 'obsession'. (I have seen some of the classic series at this point too!) And besides all that, it's a fantastic episode

I really want to change my vote to Castrovalva. I absolutely LOVED every minute of it. I thought I'd be in a funk with the end of 4, but 5 doesn't let that happen, not for one minute.

There are a lot of good ones to choose from, but The Eleventh Hour got my vote. It was awesome and the first one I watched, so it had to win my vote.
