Ex originally posted these in the thread for An Adventure in Space & Time then discovered they could come from the anniversary ep instead. I went digging & it seems this is probably true so I've moved them here instead. If anyone finds more info let us know

Couple more. This is fake. Its two cosplayers from a con a couple years ago. Thats why he has his old tweed on. The rest are real, and spectacular though

I can't believe how little I know about this episode so far. It's pretty much just what the BBC has released themselves. It's odd being so in the dark.

I so can't wait to see the Zygons. I think that's what I am looking forward to the most in this story.

Part of the trailer, perhaps?
It's been confirmed that there will be some sort of Doctor Who day in China, organised by the BBC, or at least BBC Worldwide, who are trying to sell the show there. As part of that day, which I think is mid September, they will also be shown a trailer for the anniversary.
Am I the only one thinking this is getting a bit unfair to the UK now? First the US and now China get to see it before us!

Reminds me of where banks offer new customers a whole range of special offers, and old faithful customers get nothing.

THIS!!! I feel incredibly disenfranchised at the moment. I don't think it would have killed the BBC to use 25 mins on BBC3 or BBC4 4 times every month to promote a classic DW story. When it was the 25th Anniversary, BBC2 ran a short season called "The Five Faces of Doctor Who" where they showed a story from each Doctor. BBC America are getting a short series of documentaries explaining each Doctor and giving them a little profile. However.... I wonder if Moffat is going for a calculated sprint of activity starting late October so that momentum is built up leading to 'Adventures in Space and Time' and then the 50th Episode. I think come November, we'll be well served...At least I hope so, because right at the moment we're getting nothing.

100 or so people in a small room in San Diego got the trailer. Not all of the US. The rest of us in the US are suffering as much as you.

I still think it's crappy, and I'm not from the UK.
The event in China is going to be huge, from what I have been reading. It's being held in Beijing and for thousands of people. The trailer will be shown and a 'huge announcement' is to be made. They're really making it an event and people will get to go onto a huge TARDIS set and they are decorating the place with huge pictures of times when the Doctor was in China, like stuff from Marco Polo, etc.
Something closer to home would be nice. Perhaps as a reminder that the show has a birthday coming up. Something the BBC seem to have all but forgotten.

Here's the 2 stings for the show that were revealed last Saturday - the official hashtag & the date (not that that was really a surprise!)

Yes, I saw them, as they were before and after Atlantis (which I enjoyed, with reservations). No actual information, but at least it feels they're making something of it.

Thanks. I've skimmed it, and I'll go back and read properly when I have a bit more time.

Apparently there will also be a second trailer on Sunday (presumably different as they going to the trouble of mentioning it) - no idea what time though.
