Perhaps a shade manic at times, but that's probably understandable when he's found Clara.  The one thing I didn't understand - if he's gone off to search for her, what's he doing in retreat in the 12th century?  Unless, of course, that's supposed to be "going to a room to think" from the "prequel".  That just occurred to me as I was typing.

Loved the 11th doc in this! Mad and barmy as usual but brilliant!

Absolutely fantastic. His continued disdain for twitter amuses me to no ends.

Creepy Doctor is creepy. There was a leaf in your book. I licked it. And I ate half a jammy dodger, you can have the rest.

Really, though, I thought he was brilliant. It's SO refreshing to see him with someone besides Amy and Rory. I no longer feel like he MUST regenerate soon to keep the show fresh, I think he probably could manage another full series without regenerating.

Your first line made me laugh! Grin And I totally agree, Clara has really made the show feel fresh! The new TARDIS helps too I think!

I think that he was awesome in this episode and really worked the script to it's full potential, though I think at times he was perhaps a tad too manic

Matt is consistently awesome, but I don't think we are seeing much new from him. I'm not criticising, but it gets harder to critique him when what we are seeing is cut and paste Eleven.

Good performance, but like TC says there was nothing in this that we hadn't seen before.

I thought he was spot on from start to finish. Not his best work, but when his worst is still awesome that is by no means an insult.

I think he always puts 100% in to the script he is given, but he isn't always given the best material to work from. I think this all worked in his favour in this story and he was great to watch again.
